#Edoméx.- In order to promote ecotourism, improve spaces that encourage family coexistence and strengthen the ecological vocation of the southern region of the State of Mexico, Governor Alfredo Del Mazo Maza delivered the remodeling of the Sierra de Nanchititla State Park.

He also explained that this space was completely renovated so that visitors have better services and can appreciate the attractions of this region, which enjoys a great biodiversity.

«We are delivering the rehabilitation of this Sierra Nanchititla State Park, one of the largest Natural Areas we have in the State of Mexico.

«And we are delivering this space that was completely rehabilitated; it is a space for families to come to walk, to camp, to hike, to do research as well, we have a great biodiversity in this area of the State of Mexico,» he stressed.

On a working tour of the municipality of Luvianos, where he was accompanied by the Secretary of Urban Development and Works, Rafael Díaz Leal Barrueta and the Secretary of the Environment, Jorge Rescala Pérez, the governor explained that this park is located in one of the largest Natural Protected Areas in the State of Mexico and specified that there are more than 90 areas of this type in the state, covering 44 percent of the state’s territory.

In this regard, he stressed the importance of taking care of these types of spaces and keeping them in good condition for the families of the State of Mexico to enjoy them.
